Portable diagrams for zooming, printing, and the places that insist on an image.
Turn UniFi Network's clipped, view-only topology into a diagram you can zoom, print, edit, explore, or safely share.
Open source is not a crippled “community edition.” If useful features are withheld until you pay, that is a commercial trial, not the kind of open source this project means. No paid edition, hosted upsell, account requirement, or feature gate: the whole AGPL-3.0-only tool is here, and every renderer runs locally.
No controller changes. No cloud relay. GET is the only HTTP method in the source.
THE PROBLEM
UniFi's topology is a pan-and-zoom canvas inside a fixed viewport. A full-page capture only gets the visible region; zooming out enough to fit a real network makes its labels useless. unifi-map reads the same local JSON data the console uses and renders the result properly.
CHOOSE THE RIGHT OUTPUT
Portable diagrams for zooming, printing, and the places that insist on an image.
Editable shapes, already positioned, ready to rearrange and annotate.
A self-contained explorer for busy maps: pan, zoom, search, trace a client path, and collapse leaves.
Graphviz source, Markdown-native diagrams, and a stable normalized topology for programs.
DESIGNED FOR REAL NETWORKS
--obfuscate replaces names, addresses, MACs, SSIDs, VLAN names, and ISP details while preserving the topology.SOCIALIST FREE SOFTWARE
unifi-map is created in the spirit of worker ownership, solidarity, and the public good. Everyone may use or contribute to it; no political identity is required. Its AGPL license keeps modified hosted versions from becoming a private, closed service.
There will be no proprietary edition, feature-gated open core, mandatory account, telemetry business model, or private sponsor channel that controls the public roadmap.
